The MS Awareness fundraiser
In the month of October The Shane Project trained 6 young people (aged 16-25 yrs) through their Skills Based Volunteer Training Programme (SBVTP). Three went on to deliver an Awareness Raising Outreach in schools, and the remaining three led and organised the MS Awareness Fundraising event.
The fundraising event was held fundraising event in order to sustain and enhance, the services we provide for people living with Multiple Sclerosis their families and carers, whilst raising awareness in our local community.
The day was packed with games, raffles, and socialising. Friends and families came along, had a good time and were informed on Multiple Sclerosis.
Thanks to our SBVTP trainees who organised an MS Awareness fundraiser event, and made sure the day ran smoothly.
We would like to also thank their families for the money raised, donating items, giving their time, baking and supporting us on the day.
We also would like to thank all the volunteers for their hard work and commitment on the day!
